AFTERGLOW: THE SONG ABOUT MY INTRINSIC FAIRYTALE

Being too inspired by the fairytale-themed Taylor Swift songs, I managed to write my own. This portrays the fairytale of my life and is one of my favorite. I've done this last May 2009.

DEVIANTART:WHERE ARTISTS COLLIDE

Here's a prestigious online site which suits the scope of interest of every art lovers like me. It is a medium filled with masterworks and a place where skillful craftspersons meet.

The online community site Deviantart.com showcases original works of ingenious artists worldwide. It was established by Angelo Sotira, Matthew Stephens and Scott Jarkoff on August 2007. Now crowded with heaping millions of members, the site receives approximately hundred thousands of artistic pieces each day.

Deviantart allows artisans to disscuss, exhibit as well as sell their own creations. It promotes a number of art categories including skins for applications, film making, literature, modelling, traditional art, flash, digital art, photography, furry and the like. Also featured are some downloadable stock photography and bunch of turorials.

By far, this community is the perfect place to expose the talents of passionate artists. The members are called "deviants" while their arts are referred to as "deviations". Deviants are able communicate with each other via the chat and forum area . They post comments about each others works, discuss their own tips and points of views or ask and give suggestions for improvements of their deviations.

HOW TO USE A NOKIA PHONE AS A MODEM

I'm providing here a basic tutorial including illustrations on how to surf the internet using your nokia phone as a modem.

Here are the things needed to get you started:

NOKIA PC SUITE(install this from the cd that comes with your phone package or you can download it HERE)
DATA CABLE or BLUETOOTH USB ADAPTER
PC or LAPTOP
CELLPHONE LOAD(of course lol)

1. Install the PC Suite and connect your phone to your Pc using the data cable or the bluetooth adapter.



2. Click the connect to the Internet button - the green button encircled below.



3. A dialog box like this will appear.



4. Click the button.

5. Select any modem from the drop down box. Click Next.



6. Select your sim card's network operator and click Finish.



7. A dialog box like this shall appear. Click OK.



8. Here it is shown that the connection is established.



9. Finally, open your browser and start surfin.... :)

UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVITY WITH SCRAPBOOKING

Scrapbooking has long been a way to share our treasured pictures. Instead of just plainly attaching them to photo albums, it is much expressive and artistic to make scrapbooks of them.

The scrapbook above features me, my sisters and my friends. Just post your questions about the girls on the comments section. Ajeje. Only if you have. The picture in the middle shows the word "Diyosa", in English it means goddess. Why goddess? Cause we look like goddesses. Isn't it obvious. Hmz.jeje just kidding. Partly a joke, partly factual.ajeje. Lmao..

Anyway, here's how I've created the scrapbook. I used multicolored leftover glitters for the vines (however the gold color dominates) and the names. Clothing and accesories' tags were creatively cut to create a frame for some pictures. Finally to color the flower, i used pastels.
