BROWNIE RECIPE FOR GIRL BONDING (WITH ILLUSTRATIONS)

Baking is one of the gratifying activities for girl bonding. On the 26th of August, 2010, I invited the best of my best buddies, Tonet, over our house to bake delectable brownies. Weee! We made this unwind time hilarious and pleasurable as it should be. My youngest brother Kenneth also joined the fun.

This is a modified recipe from pinoyrecipe.net but I guess I was mistaken on revising the frosting, ahaha. It turned out to be too thick and so much sweet - a disgusting taste .. so I'm writing here the original recipe for the frosting..

Please research about the baking terms used before starting..It shall be a great help ^.^

2 cups sugar
2 tsps vanilla extract

THE ESSENCE OF GIRLFRIENDS

Love shared in Friendships is apparently different to a Lover's love..Lovers may come and go while friends are always there to stay. Essential parts of friendly love are girlfriends..

"Every Teen Girl's Little Pink Book on Girlfriends", a Christian book on girlfriends by Cathy Bartel, made me realize how valuable girlfriends are. It's a teen book but the contents of book apply to girls and women of all ages. Ladies may have their husband, boyfriend(only some of us. I'm one of those who lack this HAHA.. .), guy friends and crushes but its typically an extraordinary, heart-warming thing when we jam and deal issues with girlfriends. The book implies that girlfriends become more important as we grow with age. We may have commitments or get tied up in marital relationships but we still need girlfriends whom we refer to as sisters. As a lady, you may find guys to be generally caring, understanding, and protective. You may enjoy their company but still it's not an excuse to forget girl friends. You may have families and children but we need not lose contact with girl friends. No matter how you are far apart there isn't an excuse from keepin in touch. Making phone calls, sending text messages or e-mails, or writing letters(old-fashioned but still effective hehe) is possible.

Our girlfriends make a great impact on our lives not only during gales of laughter but also on times of unbearable pains. Any of your friends are your lovers but not all lovers can treat you as a friend. A love of a girlfriend is truly a distinctive thing.

Hmm..anyway, you can purchase the book here "Little Pink Book on Girlfriends".
